Can You Imagine?

Can you imagine a life without love?
Or how it would feel never to be touched
To feel the butterflies of a first love
Fluttering in your heart and giving you wings
Can you imagine never being kissed?
Feeling as if, you were about to lose your very breath
Never did you want it to end, that perfect moment
When you realized that life can be lived in a kiss
Can you imagine if you weren’t in the world?
There would be one less person to love
One less smile to brighten someone’s day
What would the love of your life do without you here?
He would be incomplete without your presence in his life
Can you imagine if God spoke to you one day?
To let you know he’s always been watching
That you’ve never been alone, not even for a minute
Can you imagine God putting his arms around you?
Looking into your eyes and calling you ‘my child’
Can you imagine? Can you?
