Eric Jerome Dickey
I’m reading Eric Jerome’s Dickey “Genevieve” http://www.ericjeromedickey.com/ and from the first page it grabbed my attention. I’ve read most of his stuff and I don’t recall him ever writing in such an erotic manner before, and the writing is crisp, pulling you along to the next passage. Good to see that 11 books into his career that he hasn’t lost a step and in fact seems to be hitting his stride. Goes to show you that even late in the game you can still up the ante and reach for something deeper than you’ve ever experienced and not settle for merely threading water, but striving to walk on it, even if you fail. The attempt in itself is noble and to strive for it, is the greatest of ideals. To expect more of yourself than anyone ever will isn’t a mark of arrogance but just an innate belief that you are deserving of someone equal to you/beyond you. Spoken like a true Sagittarius...ya.
