Sanctuary of My Mind

Poetry and Prose will take you away, you'll be drifting between darkness and eternal moonlight...savage passion and reasonable love will sing their songs...flickers of happiness, embers of sadness...all you need to forget time is still ticking. (written by a reader)

Ying Yang Love

Heh,
Take a peek at this new one. See if you can relate to it somehow. We've all been down that road at sometime or another. Smart thing is to know when to get off that road when there are too many speed bumps and debris along the way....enjoy.

an excellently written essay on love and passion, very different from your other stories—your last paragraph needs unpacking of all those giving/taking/glass metaphors that are all cluttered up. Also the last line is a needless moral that (despite your claim) does not really follow from what you have said before, which is far more ambiguous and penetrating than the reassuring ‘all experiences are worth it.’ All and all, it is a very eloquent circumlocution to say that loving and being loved is the ultimate experience for one’s emotional health, *but* it still doesn’t cut it compared to playing the field and being constantly stimulated by new desires and lust. Fair enough…
