7th Heaven (series finale)

Tonight is the last episode of 7th Heaven http://www.slate.com/id/2141151/ after a ten year run. I remember when the show first came on. It was a breath of fresh air preaching family values and I always felt good about everything after that hour in Tvland. Geek Alert!...lol...It reminded of shows like The Waltons (Goodnight John Boy) and if you remember that..geez you're a geezer. It was good to see a nice wholesome show where mom and dad were always around to lend a helping hand just like The Cosby Show. Seems like a lifetime ago when these things mattered with everything being so fractured these days. Everyone running in different directions, doing their own thing. The glue that held families together seems to be irrevocably broken. The Camdens always gave you somewhere to go to find that feeling again that you couldn't find in your own life. The end of era. Hopefully it gives birth to something equally good in the vacuum that is Tvland.
