Homecoming
My lips kiss you from memory now
And the intensity is still the same
Burning slowly like embers in a fireplace
I am home again in a place where I discovered love
You are still there to receive me with open arms
As if I never left you in search of deeper passions
Your kiss still sparks the flame
That ignites something magical in my soul
Still waters truly do run deep
I’ve always been here with you
Even when I tried to leave
You somehow knew to wait for me
Home again, after all these years
Love has changed but she’s still the same.

Good to see you back. You hadn't updated in a few days. A man who can write like you is a blessing indeed.
