Anything For You

There's nothing too small
There's nothing too big
Ask of me and I will
Without prompting or selfish thoughts
I put myself in your shoes
Try to see how you feel
Anything for you within my power
I will make it happen to make you happy
Anything for you,
Ask of me and I will.

On Need

My arms do not need your embrace
Nor do I need from you a touch
When you are far I feel not cold
Or lonely or a thing as such

I need not see your smile to breathe
I need not see your eyes to give
I need not hear you talk or write
And for this reason I live

From you I need not a touch, for
You touched already my soul
You touched a heart, you made an arrow
you made me love you whole

I need you not stay by my side
Though far, you still are never distant
How can I need you to be near
If you hold my hand at every instant?
