Everything we supposedly do in this life is with the intent to be happy. The material possessions, education, raising a family, finding out who we are and the search for love is a direct correlation to happiness. So when all these things happen and fall into place making the prospect of happiness not merely an ideal, but something that’s attainable, it can be a frightening prospect to realize that its within your grasp. It’s now incumbent upon you to be personally responsible for nurturing the happiness of another human being. If you mess up your life, well, it’s only your happiness you’re screwing with, but now to screw with someone else’s happiness is the greatest of all pressure. That being said, we should all perform at the highest level when everything is on the line, and a second chance is a concept that doesn’t even register on your mind screen.
