To believe that your time has come
Leave your heart open again to so much pain
A road once traveled filled with sadness
You swore you would never come this way again
Love came calling one day, unexpected
So here you go again throwing caution to the wind
Praying this time that love will be kind
Hold you in her womb like a mother loves a child
Caress you with the sweetness of a sweet lullabye
Kiss you with a fever that will burn eternal
Touch you so gently as if she was always there
Second time around, love please stay
