Sanctuary of My Mind

Poetry and Prose will take you away, you'll be drifting between darkness and eternal moonlight...savage passion and reasonable love will sing their songs...flickers of happiness, embers of sadness...all you need to forget time is still ticking. (written by a reader)

Flesh

Deftly my fingers unclasp your bra
Falling to the floor silently besides your panties
You make your way into my arms
Your heartbeat is pounding rapidly through your chest
And for the first time I feel your skin
Hot against my own burning flesh
Nothing before could have prepared me for this
How wonderful you would feel this evening
I’m already lost in the memory of how special this will be
And we haven’t even kissed yet, but I know
I know how you will taste just by the way you smell
Your scent leaves me filled with a hunger
That will only be quenched when I’m home again
Deep inside the sanctuary of your sweet flesh.

New Stuff to Read

New short finished a few days ago. Just about the random ugly thoughts that inhabit our minds at time. Luckily, for most of us, we don't allow our negative thoughts to turn into action. Enjoy.

Sweetness of You

One more time before you leave
Allow me the joy
Of the pleasure your body gives
The sweetness of you I can’t resist
All of you I want to receive
My body is yours do as you will
All that you want
I’m more than willing to do
Just one more time before you leave
Let me taste you love

You are the sweetest fruit one can imagine
Not a drop of you will be wasted
My hands and fingers will be licked to completion.

Sweet Kokot

Between her inner thighs
Lays an untouched treasure
Just waiting for the right touch to release its passion
Hibernating for years now, untouched
It sleeps in rest only to be awakened
By one who's truly deserving of all she has to offer
Her kokot smiles at the touch she’s been waiting for
All that I have is yours she murmurs
As his manhood swells deep inside of her.

Hindrance of Sight

Without a word you are gone
I feel your presence in every corner
Whispering to me for us to take flight
Beckoning me to join you where you are
Sight isn’t needed to see your face
It’s merely a hindrance
Because it’s only with the magic of imagination
Can I reach into your heart
Find myself in your arms before our very next breath
When that breath is exhaled and I kiss you once again
Time stands still for all eternity
Sight isn't needed to see your love
I feel it with every thought I have
Nothing can make me forget how much I am loved.

Sail On

Ship is sailing away
Sail blowing in the wind
In the shape of a hand
Waving goodbye to the past
Hello to the future
The sun is setting
And with it bringing
Calmer waters
Everything is clearer now
The beautiful colors of the ocean
Shine in my eyes
I recognize true beauty for the very first time.

Beyond the Realm of Everything

Last night we transcended the boundaries
Of mere lovemaking, we were urgent in need of rescuing
Your body was the sun, a heat radiating from your core
Reached out to me hungry to release its energy
The subtlest touch and your body reacted, knowingly
Without pretense of wanting to be enslaved
I merged into you, heat melting inside heat
Behind closed doors our thoughts and secrets are revealed
Your body betrays you the way a man keeps a mistress
Desire lives in your eyes
And your innermost thoughts stand there naked
Even before I take you and fill you with my love
You are already mine, there’s no use in pretending otherwise
Beyond the realm of everything
Only we exist in this moment, we are alone,
Free of constraints and we allow our imaginations to roam
It’s there you will find me always waiting
For you, the woman that I love.

Mirror Image

You know who I am
Only you can ever truly say so
You read my thoughts
As if they were your own
Nothing I can ever say
Would catch you by surprise
One day soon I hope to make you so proud
Of something I wrote that touched your heart
The great American novel or the poet laureate
You wear that look of constant bemusement
Waiting for me to live up to my promise
Made to you on one of those nights
Only you know my constant struggles
Never wavering from my side
You are my mirror image
As I stare into my eyes
The hunger still burns
The passion still lives
For something special
A life surreal.

Beautifully Flawed and Perfect

I want you now
As I’ve always wanted you
Without inhibitions or facades
Portraying us to be people we’re not
I am a man in love with you
And all your perfect flaws
They make you beautiful, unique
Someone else no one can ever hope to be
Don’t ever change who you are
If you did,
You wouldn’t be the woman I fell in love with
I want you now as you are,
Beautifully flawed and perfect.

Everything

Everything you are
Everything you’re not
None of that stuff matters
As long as you know
The truth that resides in your heart
Take time to listen to yourself
You’re your own best friend
You can lie to others about who you are
But when all is quiet and there’s no one around
The echoing silence can be deafening
When you’re the only one listening
Truth is the only serum to calm the demons
Only then, will peace of spirit be yours to keep.

New (Short Story)

A new short about the gray area sometimes that love of family/husband can lead us into at times. "Loving Ain't Easy" is just a quick look down such a road that sometimes you do things in the name of love. It doesn't make it wrong or right. It just is....

Almost Unbearable

She has this way of making me feel special
Just in the way she expresses her heart
I feel the raw emotion she’s communicating
I sense she’s feeling it for the very first time
The passion of her heart is new to her
I wonder if she’s amazed at the thoughts she’s having
The rush of emotions outracing her mind
Leaving her wondering who is this person having these thoughts
She smiles inadvertently when she imagines his touch
Her face is flushed
Her throat is parched
Once again she’s in need of everything him
The hours between the next time they meet
Is closing fast, soon
Her body will be alive with a million touches and kisses
An ache like this is almost unbearable, but
She knows relief is on the way
She smiles once again.

Honey Colored Girl

Dipped in chocolate syrup
Her skin is the color of golden brown
Legs so long and beautiful
Soon they will be wrapped around
Eyes so innocent they could make you cry
Weep for the person you once were
God must have forgotten earth isn’t heaven
Left her here to wander among the people
Somehow through some stupid miracle
She stands at my doorsteps with her heart open
Letting me in without a struggle
Honey colored girl dipped in chocolate
Many more years I know we will spend
Getting to know each other beyond the surface
With you I don’t want to pretend
That being in love doesn’t matter
It’s the hope of finding love again
That kept me going until you got here.

The Devil Smiles

A race against time
Always one step behind
Nothing will matter more in my life
Than the decisions made right now
The fork in the road has the face of the devil both sides
Look beyond the apparent beauty where the devil can’t hide
His face will be ugly when unmasked
If you’re still blinded
By the glaring emptiness of temporary pretty
Listen intently to what’s not being said
The little voice inside your head
Is truth whispering to your heart and your conscience
When the devil smiles his teeth are sometimes white
Don’t get blinded by her ugly beauty.

(The devil has dualing roles. He ascribes to no particular sexuality.)

I'm Coming Baby

I’m coming baby
Just hold on a little bit longer
This time I will be there to catch you when you fall
You won’t be alone when nighttime comes
And I know many nights you’ve come close to tears
Love shouldn’t leave you feeling so empty
Leave you wondering if it’s all worth it in the end
My words won’t be enough to make you believe
In time, my love will prove to be true
All your doubts will be erased
You won’t remember a time
When we weren’t in love like this
But for now I’m coming baby
Keep your heart open for me
I promise a life of happiness we will spend.

Place Your Heart

Give it all to me
Everything you have
I will take with pleasure
For I believe you are the woman
I am meant to be with
So everything you give
Will be received with honor
Knowing that you chose me
To give your heart humbles me so
Place your heart in my care
I will watch over it
As if it was my own.

Unrequited Love

An inadvertent touch
Charged with electricity
Reveals her love no longer concealed
And now he knows feelings thought to be friendship
Through the years have deepened
She loves him like a lover loves her man
Always in the background and quick with a smile
She’s loved him ever since the day they met
A friend first she’s remained quiet out of respect
Loving a man who she couldn’t have
A heart full of love with no one to give
Now she wonders what if
She had left herself open
Told him that her heart always belonged to him
Would he have said the same or smiled in gratitude
Misunderstanding the intent of her words
And in that moment she would know
Friends they would always be
Long after all the lovers of the night have long been forgotten.

(I started writing this and then went off in a different direction just wondering what if you loved someone all your life and they never know how you felt about them. Your love lived in the imagination of your heart never to see the light of day.)

Eyes Open

Look no further than us to find
Dreams of the rarest kind
We need not wait to close our eyes
To live a beautiful life
Everyday is Neverland
One adventure after another
There’s no one else I’d rather be
Than you and me in love
I don’t know what tomorrow holds
All I need to know is when I open my eyes
You will be right here next to me
So we can share another day together
A day will turn into a life forever.

Timeless Photograph

The hurt of the world
Breathes in every breath
Pain is eternally felt
Staying alive in recollections of your elders
Pictures link together a history of your life
Your aura greets strangers and they know
They see themselves in your weakness
Take pride in the silent strength of your resolve
They too have cried in the dark
Praying to God they’re not losing their goddamn minds
Nothing comforts their hearts filled with despair
Tonight is a beautiful night to die
Before that moment can arrive,
Sleep steps in and fills the night with beautiful dreams
Dreams known only to you so long ago as a child
You rediscover the innocence of your youth
When life held you in the palm of her hands
When you believed in the relevance of God
With the loss of innocence sometimes comes a loss of faith
When so many of us lose our way and it’s in this interim
When we should seek to find the truth of who we are
When the sanctuary of aloneness gives us time for introspection
From this purple haze you should emerge with inner knowledge
Necessary to balance a well lived life
A sense of your spiritual self should radiate your aura
Those days of never wanting to wake up
To sleep the eternal sleep of peaceful dreams
Are now in the rearview mirror of who you are
Perspective is gained and an understanding of seeing the bigger picture
That life, in the moment of its occurrence isn’t a photograph
An image or thought frozen in time easily dissected for its shortcomings
Life is constantly shifting, changing never operating on your schedule
A photograph couldn’t truly capture the moments of your life being lived
Timeless, only in the context of a flash bulb going off
There goes life happening again,
Take a picture before it’s too late of this fleeting timeless photograph.

Fetish

You’re my fetish
Can’t get enough of what you have to give
Never have I desired a woman like this
The insanity I sometimes feel
Just from the whisper of your lips saying something dirty
A compulsion is born to throw you to ground
Do with you what I want over and over
Something tells me you will oblige my fetish
Feed me the dish I crave without hesitation
Don’t be shy my love
I’ve tasted it before
Just open the pleasure and let me in
It will be sometime before I’m finished
When I get like this and I’m famished
Only my fetish will stave off this hunger
Only you my lover can feed me what I desire.

Absence

For anyone who’s been in love
They know the unrelenting anguish
That comes from nights spent alone in bed
If the power of hope and prayer
Could somehow miraculously make her appear
How beautiful this night would end
But, in her absence,
You hold on to remnants of her memory
A kiss that should never end
Bridging days and weeks of loneliness
Until the next time you bury your face in her hair
Inhaling the scent of her natural beauty
It courses through your veins giving you renewed energy
Store it in your memory for that day once again
When loneliness will kiss you tenderly in her absence.

Anything You Want

Just as I thought
My body remembers your touch
Rejoicing in once again
Feeling your delicate fingers
Sending shivers of lust up and down my spine
So intense is the passion
I need a moment before the next onslaught of pleasure
Washes over me leaving me faint
You touch me in places that are virgin
Just waiting for the right one to release all this passion
That’s being lying dormant for far too many years now
Don’t stop what you’re doing
I’m yours for the asking
Anything you want I’m open
Pleasing you is always foremost on my mind
Anything you want,
Just ask of me and it’s yours.

New Stuff (Poetry)

Just some new stuff for my readers to contemplate with me.. All of these were written within the span of an hour or so I think. Melancholy visited me temporarily as I wrote these, and that’s the thing with melancholy you don’t want to visit to often, but you know that when she visits that there will be goodies when she leaves. That’s the Catch 22 of this whole self-indulging crap, but so it goes. Enjoy….cool…
